To help kids remember Months of the Year we have listed few rhymes that are easy to sing. By singing it, the kids will quickly learn the names of months of the year, and the order of the months of the year.

Teachers can use the following months of the year to the poem for little kids.

January, February, March,
April, May, June.
July, August, September,
October, November, December.
These are the twelve months of the year.
Now sing them together so we can all hear.
How many months are there in a year?
Twelve months in a year.

June, July, August. Hooray, Hooray!

Rhyme for Number of Days in Each Month

If you want to make sure that students also learn the number of days in each month of the year then you can use the following rhyme.

Rhyme 1

Thirty days has September,
April, June, and November,
all the rest have thirty-one.
February has twenty-eight,
but leap year coming one in four
February then has one day more.

Rhyme 2

Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November; All the rest have thirty-one, Excepting February alone, And that has twenty-eight days clear, and twenty-nine in each leap year.
