Short Eassy on Hospital Experience and Its Condition

In this world of darkness, the shining stars for me are my relatives. They make a strong bridge between the world and me. An iron shield that prevents any stone coming to me. I have may relatives, some are very close to me, some are not. A very close relative of mine is my grandmother. I am an apple of her eyes. She loves me a lot. I have many memories with her, and all are very good except one. I cannot forget that day. The day that exposed the bitter reality of the hospital.

I was in my grandmother’s home when she got a health issue. We managed to take her to the hospital. I went with them too. Before that day, I could not get a chance to go and visit any hospital. You might say, I visit the hospital once in a blue moon.

The hospital building was quite big, some part of it was under construction. The reception told us to wait for a couple of hours because the concerned specialist was not there. I remembered, sitting beside my grandmother. In meanwhile, a patient on a stretcher came there. Many people were around him. He was a very old man. His sons were there too. One of his sons called the doctor. The hospital staff did not do special attention to them.

Where we were sitting, they started checking up right there. First time in my life I got my wires crossed, as I could not imagine such a situation anywhere. Only a doctor was checking him. There was no special room there, to handle such a situation. You might say I was at my boiling point there. I wanted to say something to them, something that could enough effect that made them realize that what they were doing. I was angry and resentful at that time.

Then after some time, a nurse came to us. She said, “doctor is available now”. We stepped toward our way. I saw at the old man, with a good prayer.

A bad experience always lets you in darkness and makes some strong impression on the nerves. I can say only one thing, all that glitters is not gold.

Final Thoughts:

Every hospital is a different and the facilities they provide also differs. But the basic experience of getting ill, treated by doctor, having a proper diet, facing medical challenged and others remains the same.
