Example 1: For most of the students in the class, English proved to be a very challenging subject.
Here the word ‘many’ is the preposition and ‘class’ is the object of a preposition.
Example 2: Unless and until the sunrises, the Max team will be hiding in the mud.
In the above sentence, the preposition ‘until’ is the proposition that is used to connect the object to the main clause.
Example 3: There is a fluffy white cat on the bench that wanders among the houses.
Here, you would see the word ‘bench’ acts as the object of the preposition ‘On’. Also, there is another object of preposition ‘houses’ for the preposition ‘among’.
Example 4: Right from the beginning of the storm, Maya was sure that she would make it home.
In the above sentence, the word ‘beginning’ is the object of the preposition ‘From’ and ‘Storm’ is the object of the preposition ‘Of’.
