Trucks are seen on the streets everywhere. Trucks vary in mass, control and configuration. Trucks are mainly used to carry cargo. Fuel tank, storage compartment, wheels, engine, radiator, horn, cab and fifth wheel are some common parts of a truck.
Let’s discuss about some important parts of a Truck.
Fifth wheel is a hitch that allows the driver to attach to cargo attachment to the back of large vehicle like tractor or truck. Then they have fog lights which can be used during fog, snow or rain. New trucks work on diesel engines but there are some small trucks which still work on gasoline.
A cab is a closed compartment where the driver is seated. Cab has two positions it is over the engine or beside the engine. Small trucks have transmissions similar to cars; they either have automatic or manual transmissions with synchronizers while larger trucks use manual transmissions without synchronizers.
