Adjectives Words to Describe Cake, Chocolate and Candy

It is very interesting to know that chocolate grows on trees. The cocoa “beans” that make up the chocolate base are actually seeds from the fruit of the cacao tree, which grows mainly in the tropics near the Equator. The seeds grow inside the pod-shaped fruit and are covered with a white juicy gourd or pulp.

To make chocolate, cocoa growers break the pods, extract the seeds, boil them and dry them. Beans are exported to factories around the world, where producers test and purify them, then roast and grind them into a dense liquid called chocolate liquor. Excessive pressure, rolling, mixing sugar and other ingredients, and heat and cooling eventually produce this delicious treat.

Candy refers to both chocolate products and sugar-based confections. Elsewhere, “chocolate confectionery” refers to chocolate, sugar confectionery in various sugar-based products, and flour confectionery in products such as cakes and pastries.
