- We then inhale this oxygen and give them carbon dioxide.
3. Twigs and Branches
- They are also a part of the crown.
- Twigs and branches support the structure of a tree. They are responsible for holding fruits and leaves.
4. Trunk
- The trunk is also the connector. It connects the upper part of a tree to its lower part.
- It connects the crown to the roots.
- The trunk is also known as the strongest part of a tree. It is called so because it supports the tree and gives it a shape.
- A trunk also transports water to the leaves from the soil.
- Here is an interesting fact about the trunk. The trunk is made up of ring-like structures, and each year, an extra ring gets added to the trunk!
5. Roots
- Roots are the most important part of a tree because the tree comes out from there.
- They are not visible because they are underground.
