Most of the time when we communicate we try to use different adjectives to describe object’s age be it living or non-living.
Describing someone as “aged” or “elderly” is quite a neutral way of indicating age of a person. Words like “Childhood” and “Junior” are used for small kids.
Words to Describe Age

- Mature: Having reached full natural growth or development
- Mellow: A person’s character tempered by maturity or experience
- New: Not of long duration; having just or relatively recently come into being
- Older: Used of the older of two persons of the same name especially used to distinguish a father from his son
- Patriarchal: The male head of a family, tribe, community, church, order, etc.
- Puberty: The time of life when sex glands become functional
- Peer: a person who is of equal standing with another in a group
- Reproductive: The reproductive system of an organism, also known as the genital system, is the biological system made up of all the anatomical organs involved in sexual reproduction.
- Senescent: Growing old
- Senile: Having or showing the weaknesses or diseases of old age, especially a loss of mental faculties.
- Senior: A person who is older than you are
- Stricken In Years: Old and feeble.
- Teenager: A juvenile between the onset of puberty and maturity
- Venerable: Accorded a great deal of respect, especially because of age, wisdom, or character
- Warning: Caution advice to seniors
- Wrinkled: Having small lines because of old age
- Young: Young people collectively
