Adjectives Words to Describe Age of a Person

Most of the time when we communicate we try to use different adjectives to describe object’s age be it living or non-living.

Describing someone as “aged” or “elderly” is quite a neutral way of indicating age of a person. Words like “Childhood” and “Junior” are used for small kids.

  19. Puberty: The time of life when sex glands become functional

  23. Senile: Having or showing the weaknesses or diseases of old age, especially a loss of mental faculties.
  24. Senior: A person who is older than you are
  25. Stricken In Years: Old and feeble.
  26. Teenager: A juvenile between the onset of puberty and maturity
  27. Venerable: Accorded a great deal of respect, especially because of age, wisdom, or character
  28. Warning: Caution advice to seniors
  29. Wrinkled: Having small lines because of old age
  30. Young: Young people collectively
