What are Prepositions of Place?
A preposition of place is a preposition which is used to refer to a place where something or someone is located, Therefore they are also called prepositions of location.
There are three basic prepositions of place, however they can be used to discuss an almost endless number of places.

- In – It is used to discuss an enclosed space
- On – It is used to discuss a surface
