Trigraphs are a single sound displayed in three letters. They can be made up of three vowels, three consonants or a combination of both.
Now in this section we will work on two Trigraph:
- Consonant Trigraphs
- Vowel Trigraphs
Consonants clusters are groups of two or three consonants with words that make a different consonant sound, such as “bl” or “spl.”
Consonant digraphs include: bl, br, ch, ck, cl, cr, dr, fl, fr, gh, gl, gr, ng, ph, pl, pr and many more
whereas
Consonant trigraphs are: nth, sch, scr, shr, spl, spr, squ, str, thr.

Vowel Trigraphs in simple term is: The three letters group which is solely of vowels i.e, a,e,i,o,u. It represents a vowel sound.
