Today at EnglishBix we’ll learn some importance of reading books and the pleasure we get from it.
Life is a busy train, where once finds a little room for enjoyment. Different people have different ways of spending their spare time. All the tasks that people do, in chasing enjoyment come under the unique term Hobby. Everyone knows a little or detail about this word. I have a special concern about this. Hobbies are of different types. Every person chooses a hobby according to the interest. Interest is the interface between a person and his/her hobby. So, one must integrate all elements of his/her interest before getting involved with a hobby.
My interest is to go into the world of imagination. My interest is to read the concept of different people that they imprinted. So, I want to kill two birds with one stone. In the box of huge varieties of habits, I choose reading books. Reading books makes me always happy.
This hobby of mine gives me pleasure. I remember my first read when I was under my blanket, I made a dim light, the scenario was very charming. This book was related to a prince that make a journey to save his people. Through this book reading, I was passed through all the ways and experienced all the vicinity that the author described there.
Each night, I read a little part of that book. Each night I was in a dream with my open eyes. I was in my imaginational world, where I wished to spend more time. At last, the book was finished. It provides me with a good lesson. I could learn many things from that single good read. At the same time, I was very sad too, because I was done with that book. My hunger to be there in the world of imagination was not satisfied. After that, I realize, where my interest lies.
The next question was to get a huge collection of my beloved books. I visited many bookstalls to get shining diamonds. By the way, it was a long journey, now, I have a good collection of best books. I usually spend a night with one book. I like their company. I must say, these are my friends. I earned many good friends in my life in the form of these books. What they do for me, is to guide me by providing living examples. I forget my tiredness among them.
My books make me full of each emotion, like surprise, happiness, joy, and love. My wish now is to get all the good books in my room. There are still many little friends of mine waiting for me on the bookstalls, to take them with me. I am working hard in my life to make extra money for that purpose. I would spend a huge amount on my friends. I find books as a good friend, as a good gift that someone can give others. I read them by the force of habit now. I am on the right of this proverb, “A good book is the best of friends, the same today and forever”.
